About SIAS

Travel, tourism and hospitality are some of the world's largest industries. It has been estimated by the World Tourism Organization that around one job in ten now depends on this fast growing sector. These travelers expect high standards of service and facilities and it is only through organized and structured training that the industry can meet these expectations. The SIAS Airline Studies Institute was established in 2003 to provide recognized standards of management training appropriate to the needs of the hotel and travel industries, via its syllabi, and examinations. These have been continuously developed and improved to ensure they are relevant and up to date. This has been carried out under the careful scrutiny and supervision of experts in all aspects of the hotel, tourism and travel industries.
